Tuesday garden tour

A lily with black petals and burnt orange stamens.
Echinacea, commonly cone flower, but these two look like they've been turned inside out, their petals drooping down from their cones, and thin, like a skirt. The variety is Hula Dancer.
Roses clustered in bunches of multiple blooms, their petals dusty pink starting deep and fading out.

Another clematis, this one has four sepals like a cross, and they are a deeper violet colour. The centre is yellow with grasping claws.

Scabiosa, or pin cushion flower, a mauve pompom of petals, with an orange and yellow bee sitting on top.

It is a delightfully purple year in the garden. I mean, if you’ve been here a while, you know this is the whole point. But it’s not usually this purple! This year is exceptional.
