The light is beautiful up here, just shy of 50° N. The angles frame each day differently and you can witness the shortening of each as we tilt. It makes me conscious of hurtling through space. Happy Equinox ✨

Shade

I do like the way the air shimmers with heat in summer, briefly. Mostly I like it because of how good it makes the shade feel. It’s flat where I grew up, so it’s always a pleasure to come around the corner to mountains while wandering the neighbourhood. But it’s baking hot, so let’s go…
